Many employers focus their pre-employment screenings on criminal records and drug testing which are both very important points about the potential applicant that you need to know. But they do tend to forget that it is the little so-called white lies that will probably end up hurting the performance of the potential employee and therefore the bottom line of the company. Many applicants these days are claiming educational achievements, which they have not achieved and this can result in a employer hiring someone who is truly not qualified for the available position and will not be the best applicant for the job.
