Fingerprint Criminal Background Checks

One of the biggest drawbacks in the past for criminal background checks were they fact they were based on names, dates, and social security numbers. This means a savvy criminal could easily slip through the check by providing false information or even law abiding citizens could get accidentally accused of having criminal backgrounds when they do not. Some states are starting to allow their highway patrol departments to work with at risk groups to conduct fingerprint criminal background checks. These checks may only be available for these groups at this time, but this is the direction that these checks are going and eventually a similar service will be available to all to conduct on their potential employees.
