Background Checks For Elderly Care Givers

There are federal laws which keep a employer from hiring certain individuals with criminal records to certain positions which has them in contact with children, but there is now efforts to make a similar law for seniors. Many of our society’s elderly are just as vulnerable as children and new laws are looking into protecting them from the same dangers. Many employers already conduct criminal background checks on applicants in these situations, but a potential new law may make it mandatory for everyone to take this step to protect those in senior care facilities.
