Protecting Your Small Business with Pre-Employment Screenings

Small business owners have the most to lose by not conducting pre-employment screenings and drug testing on all applicants which they consider hiring. Those individuals who abuse drugs are more likely to have criminal records than those, which do not, and these are things to consider when considering applicants. Many of these people know that larger companies will conduct these thorough employment screenings and will shy away from applying for these positions and opt for the small company, which will be less likely to run checks on applicants. This can end up costing the small business large amounts of money in lost wages, theft, and more.
