Criminal Background Checks on Fair Employees

Summer time is fair time and the traveling rides and carnival booths are in fill swing. These shows have always been notorious for having a few bad apples working and traveling on the crew. Yet these individuals are in close contact with kids everyday as part of their job. There are some cities and counties who are pushing for the police to run criminal background checks on the carnival employees who come into their towns. This would help find any child predators who may be traveling with the show as well as any felonies who are using the job as a way to stay under the radar so to speak. By turning in the names, social security numbers, and more on each employee the town will then run their criminal records check on that information.
