Safety in the Workplace

This week a worker at a Kentucky factory killed several co-workers after an argument with a supervisor. This tragedy is a big reminder to employers that even those employees who may pass an initial criminal background check may eventually get so frustrated that they turn to extreme measures. With a struggling economy workers are vulnerable to financial hardships, which may leave them feeling that financing institutions and employers do not have their best interest in mind. As an employer you should watch your employees carefully at all times. This will familiarize you with what is normal behavior for each individual so that you can see any potential changes which may signal signs of unhappiness in the workplace.
