Juvenile Records and Criminal Background Checks

For many teens getting into a little bit of trouble during at one time is not unheard. For most of these crimes community service is all that is required to make things right, and upon turning 18 the juvenile can have their records sealed to hide these little embarrassing incidents. Today’s teens need to know and understand that a sealed record does not make it totally go away and some crimes are not available to be sealed off. Sex offense crimes will never go away and any future criminal background checks will uncover these and potentially hurt their chances of landing their dream job. Teens get away with less today and need to think of future pre-employment screenings before doing anything as a teen.
