Saving Money with Background Checks

Many employers wonder how they can justify the cost of conducting pre-employment screenings on all the applicants to their company, but once the numbers regarding resume and application fraud are evaluated the question becomes how can you afford not to. Approximately 40 – 50% of all resumes contain falsehoods in employment history or educational background. This means that almost half of the applicants though they may look qualified for the available position may actually not be the best person for the job. Hiring someone who may not get the job done effectively or correctly will cost your company unnecessary money, which could have been avoided by running complete background checks on applicants for the position.
