My PD lawyer told once I have completed PTI all charges are dropped what he didn't tell me was there is a 6 months waiting period before this happens. I have applied to many many jobs they turn me down because my background check comes up pending charge I explain to them what it is and what happened. I am a single dad raising my son on my own. The company or companies come back and tell me sorry but you have a pending charge on your background you have what it takes to do the job but we can not hire you bacause of this.
