Background Checks on Temporary Positions

Many companies use temporary employment agencies to fill gaps in their work force during busy times and this can create a gap in the security of the company as well. Most temporary agencies do not run background checks on the individuals they are higher out as the turnover is generally so high that it is not cost effective to do so. By bringing in these individuals you run the risk of having less than desirable employees who may not represent your company as you wish it to be represented. There are some temporary agencies, which do conduct pre-employment screenings as well as drug testing on those they, hire out, it is recommended you seek out these agencies to fill your temporary vacancies within your company.
