Honesty on Your Employment Resume
It is human nature to want to boost ourselves a little in the eyes of someone else, and this goes more so for a potential employer on a job you may really want to get. But being even just a little less than truthful on your resume can have negative effects on your chance for employment within a company. So many companies now run pre-employment screenings on applicants that they are interested in, and these little white lies will be found and may keep you from getting that dream job. So for example instead of stating you have some experience in a area you do not, then convey your desire to really want to learn those skills and have the opportunity to show that you can handle the chance. This will make you seem much more honest and motivated on your resume and any background checks will come out sparkling as well.
