Background Checks on Existing Employees
We have been talking about pre-employment screenings, but what about your existing employees should you continue to monitor them and perform drug testing on these employees? The answer is of course absolutely! You do not need to run background checks on all your employees every month, which would be a waste of time and resources. But it is a good idea to rerun background checks before promotions this will cover you if anything in the employees life has changed which could have a negative impact on the performance at the new position. Also you should do random employee drug screenings on all employees, especially in positions where there is a higher degree of trust. Things and people change and you should be aware of not only those you are bringing into your business, but those who are already there.
